Hourly Rate: $40.00 to $50.00 per hour (negotiable based on experience and the position you are applying for).
Roles: We are seeking both experienced leaders and hands-on workers for immediate starts on vital road construction and maintenance projects across the region.
For Leading Hands, you will:
Lead and guide small work crews on civil maintenance and construction activities.
Interpret detailed civil plans, safely plan complex work activities, and quantify materials.
Operate key roadmaking plant with high precision.
For Civil Construction Workers/Labourers, you will:
Execute essential road maintenance and construction duties (pothole repair, minor drainage, general civil tasks).
Operate plant and equipment (e.g., skid steers, rollers) to support the crew.
Work collaboratively to apply technical plans across various civil assets (roads, structures, electrical/ITS).
Guaranteed Career Growth (CTDP): You will be enrolled in the Civil Trades Development Program (CTDP)—a comprehensive program designed to compensate you for gaining new competencies and enabling career mobility across our business units.

To be considered for these critical roles, you must possess:
Full Australian Working Rights is essential.
A current, valid Queensland "C" class driver’s license (or equivalent).
Certificate III in Civil Construction or a commitment to obtain it within 36 months.
Willingness to successfully undergo a pre-employment medical.
Leading Hand applicants only: Must hold a current and valid Roller Ticket (RL).
Highly Desirable:
Candidates who hold an MR (Medium Rigid) License will be considered highly advantageous.
